Diesel Construction has an extensive amount of commercial experience. We understand the importance of working within budgetary guidelines established by corporate and at the same time, appeasing the local representatives.

        Since 1974, Norb Harenski maintained a long term relationship with Kaufmann's Department Stores before they merged with Macy's. We serviced over 65 stores in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Connecticut and West Virginia. As their prime contractor, our responsibilities included exterior building to curb to parking lots. Our work continued with Macy's through 2009 until they made a corporate decision to have all work performed by one national company. We value the trust and respect that was earned over the years as well as the friendships formed along the way.

        For the past 25 years, we have also worked with a major shopping center developer in western Pennsylvania. Concrete, wall installations, landscaping, maintenance, and snow removal are a few examples of services performed. Our work earned two awards at the company's shopping centers - "Best Maintained Mall" and "Most Improved Mall".
